Description

Benjamin Franklin is a key figure in early US history, serving as Founding Father, American diplomat, and revered elder statesman. First issued in 1948, the Franklin Half Dollars obverse features the profile of Benjamin Franklin and is marked with LIBERTY, the coin’s year of issue, and IN GOD WE TRUST. The coin’s reverse displays the Liberty Bell, heraldic eagle, and inscriptions UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, E PLURIBUS UNUM, and HALF DOLLAR.

Minted from 1948 to 1963, when 90% silver was the norm, each Franklin Half Dollar contains .3575 troy oz of pure silver.

For each $1 FV ordered, you will receive two (2) 90% Silver Franklin Half Dollars dated between 1948 and 1963. Each $1 FV of 90% Silver Franklin Half Dollars is equivalent to 0.715 troy oz of pure silver. The coins will arrive in circulated condition and may exhibit signs of handling and wear.

**We process 90% silver coins through high-speed sorting machines in large quantities. While coins ordered from this product SKU are predominantly the Franklin design, the Walking Liberty and Kennedy designs might arrive with your order**
